Whether you're a college student or a school administrator, a member of the garden club or a national governing body for a sports league, Markel Accident and Health has an insurance program to protect you.

We offer insurance for the following:

College Students and Sports Teams:  Our program insures students at public and private colleges and universities.  We have special programs for Christian colleges and Historically Black Colleges and Universities.  We also cover intercollegiate sports teams and sports camps.

K-12 Students and Sports Teams:  We offer various programs for public school districts and private schools.  We even cover football and JROTC.

Amateur Sports Leagues:  Our program for amateur and youth sports leagues covers teams, leagues, state associations, and national governing bodies.  Accident  medical coverage is also available for these organizations.

Tuition Protector:  This coverage reimburses your private K-12 school or college for unused tuition and fess if a student's withdrawal results from a covered cause of loss, such as the tuition payer's death or a student's medically necessary withdrawal.

Special Risk Accident Medical:  This coverage pays if a participant is injured at an event you sponsor.  You can think of accident medical insurance as a goodwill gesture-by paying a participant's medical bills now, you may be able to avoid a lawsuit later.

Markel Basic Health:  We created Markel Basic Health as an affordable alternative for employers without major medical.  It is a limited benefit plan that reimburses employees a fixed amount for the medical services they use most, like doctor's visits, diagnostic testing, and hospitalization.
